Kai’s Kickers
Kai’s Kickers is a program designed for boys and girls, ages 18 months to 12 years old.
Our program is designed for young children to learn soccer through fun and experimentation. We believe that teaching balance, body movements, and motor skills in conjunction with physical exercise will help develop coordination. Our coaches are energetic, patient, and caring, and all have an extensive background in soccer. Our purpose is to introduce the children to new body movements that should improve flexibility, fitness, muscle building, balance and coordination. We aim to instill self-confidence through individual mastery of skills and team work…..and of course by playing and having fun!
The toddler group requires parent participation and the curriculum consists of basic ball skills, basic motor skills, and partner drills where you are their partner. For ages 4 and up the session is more competitive with a practice-like format, small sided games and a scrimmage to end most sessions. Each session focuses on 1 or 2 skills and all activities incorporate those skills. Our goal is to reinforce the skill(s) in different ways so as to allow for learning by repetition, while holding their attention. For the scrimmage we introduce and enforce rules of the game such as situational play, throw-ins, kick offs, fouls, goal kicks and corner kicks.

My son Logan started with Kai’s Kickers thru JET when he was 2 and has been with them ever since. The program Coach Jen and her team organizes is excellent. One thing that has always stood out is the attention the coaches give the players. Because of the smaller group setting, each child is provided the attention they deserve allowing them to develop more quickly. While making sure the kids stay engaged by providing a variety of creative drills, what is even more important is the recognition the players receive for their successes. At this age positive reinforcement is so important.
As a parent, I love the fact that Logan is having fun and maturing at the same time. It is amazing to see the confidence he has developed on and off the field as well as his passion for the game. He is continuously growing his skill towards becoming the player he wants to be and always looks forward to every session. I cannot recall a single moment where he was bored or discouraged. I look forward to the years to come and being a part of this great program.

I cannot say enough about my daughter’s wonderful soccer experience the last couple of years with Kai’s kickers school soccer. Jennifer Besler has done an incredible job introducing the game of soccer to our daughter Rebekah at such a young age. She has made the experience not only fun by the music and games that are mixed in but has been successful in introducing the basics and foundations of soccer to her.
Kai’s kickers have experienced helpers who have played soccer for the owner in their younger years and so it is evident the kids are receiving excellent instruction along with compassionate and caring people. I will not take Rebekah to another league as it is evident Rebekah continues to grow her soccer skill and discipline through this excellent program. Do not wait. Sign your kids up as soon as you can!

Kai’s Kickers is an amazing program for schools and families. Coach Jen and her elite coaching staff have created a “Learn to Play Soccer” program like no other. Children learn gross motor skills that not only prepares them to play soccer but prepares them for all sports and a healthy lifestyle.
The sessions are grouped into small classes with personalized attention and children learn through playing age appropriate games. They don’t even realize how much exercise, skill and strength building they are getting because they are too busy having fun.
As the owner of Kai’s Kickers, Coach Jen meticulously creates and revises lesson plans for each session. All children feel confident and successful when attending Kai’s Kickers. Lessons are differentiated on the spot to meet the needs of all the children. Most importantly, Coach Jen is present, jumping into every group to make sure children are getting the most out of their experience.
As educators for Special Education and Adaptive Physical Education these 20 plus years, we have not seen a program as superior as Kai’s Kickers. We send both our sons to the School and Recreation Sessions. Out of all the school aged sports programs we have paid for, nothing compares to Kai’s Kickers. Our sons have learned the most from Coach Jen and her coaches and enjoy going every time.
